Nice weather, good turnout, some faces and cars I didn't recognise as well as some old favourites. I didn't stay long as I had to be elsewhere for some people collecting eBay sales stuff who as yet have not shown up, but... This is the calibre of fellow who you may find at the Limes. Don't let that put you off though. The Amoco Cadiz. King of the Lizards, hair stylists, and much much more... The Child proclaimed loudly that this is her favourite type of Mini. You can make your own fryup in this one "its not cleaned, it won't look good in a photo" says Paul B4 and after? The Floraman Onne in running-Mercedes-shock! Claire & Phill DMC combo E9 is it? lovely looking things. Did I dream an "Alpina" clone one of these with a LS1 in? Flared arches on this make it look hard. Factory or a mod? We thought all this shape were flat sided... We are often wrong. This was well shiny. Was it one of us?

It looks like a really good meet, that E9 is blinking lovely, and those DMCs' Proper not happy that I couldn't make it this morning though. Harrumph.

Russ- Wondered if those arches were optional or custom. I guess asking you there would have been easier... But you may have noticed my passenger was distracting me a bit... Yeah, they look the business. Mr 4dr - come next time and we will forgive you.

Sorry to missed chatting with you Akku, sadly food for the widlet in tow took priority.
Great meet and can everyone please join me in trying to persuade Dean that he should V8 his C class track car with the dogleg box... Apparently all it will need is a custom flywheel and prop!

I'm afraid, Akku, that I won't make the next one either. I'll be at a music festival in Kent.
the following month, however, is completely free, clear and I'll be there for sure.

Years of failed / delayed / expensive projects have taught me that it won't be that simple. It's got an engine, it's keeping it! ;D

The Child proclaimed loudly that this is her favourite type of Mini. Please, please take said Child to the next congregation of air-cooled Dubbers and ask her to repeat it on several occasions, secretly filming the cars' owners for our delight. Also, some fine metal, especially the early E. So fine are its lines, I didn't even notice the modern wheels.
