Lovely car, but I'm gutted to see it stripped.
If one would start such a restauration project, surely you would finish it or be dedicated to it.
Now I see an ebay ad of a stripped car, no restored work carried out what so ever. And the additional information about its history was taken from a screen dump in Google books.

Looks very similar to the Zagato Zimp, which as the name hints i s based on the hillman imp.

That's stunning! I really hope someone does it justice. The damage to the shell is apparently due to sand blasting. What media did they use, house bricks?!

You''d think after blasting a bit of a front wing or something you'd see that you were wrecking the job and pack it in, rather than doing the whole car and mullering 100% of the unique panelwork some people just need a good shoeing to teach them the error of their ways.
