	Hi, The crankshaft in the Imp is borked - fitted new BE shells and it was knocking again within 5 miles. And there was no sign of lack of oil when it was in bits. I could go to an Imp specialist - and indeed I may do - but was pondering whether or not to have it done locally. So I need the crank re-ground. Can anyone recommend a good place to have this done in Bristol? Prefer direct experience to "a frind of a friend" anecdotes, but all welcome. Have some crankshaft pictures as thanks:

	Quite literally just up the road from my house (about 200yds): Bristol Autocare I've not had any work done there myself but I've been in and spoken to them all, met the boss etc...all very nice people, family run business for decades and they really know their stuff. The shopfront is a health & safety nightmare of engines, heads, cams and cranks strewn everywhere, the rear workshop compact but full of the 'right' kit and well organised. It's an AWESOME place to visit! Oh, and Rich recommends them highly. I tried calling to find out if they did crank re-grinding but they are closed (it's gone 6pm so I'll let them off) but if you try tomorrow I am sure you'll find out if they can do it or not. It's the sort of place I'd be more than happy to put my money having met them all and seen their stuff....

	Sounds good - will give them a call tomorrow.
