well in the corsair i have replaced the door rubbers and screen seal as they needed doing and i thought this would stop water coming in it did. for a bit. put paper towels in the corners of the floors and one between the tunnel and heater to my surprise lots of browny fluid has been leaking from the heater area. my question is how do i re seal the heater up? what do i use also I'm guessing the matrix is buggerd too how do i get this repaired (cant buy new..) and test to see if it is this? cheers guys

If it's gone, then you can get a radiator place to re-core it.
I've not tried it personally, but I've seen suggestions of cutting an inner tube open, jubilee clipping to the heater pipes and pumping up to see if it holds pressure. If it doesn't, you'll need to take a look to see exactly where the leak is coming from. You never know, you may be lucky enough that a pipe to the matrix has perished a bit

If it's been seeping for a while, the split or hole will have an obvious build up of moist gank around it...
Most radiator places will do a re-core or a brazing place could fix it, low pressure air test is OK.
Hopefully it's easy to get to? Is it the same as anything else?
Just done the missuses Corsa, 1 hour including the feed and return pipes, would have been 30 minutes but a blind 1 fingered monkey had been in there before to bodge it up.

well i will start looking around now, we hope it is a pipe that has perished as the waters coming in just when raining and not when the car is running if that makes any sense!

If it only comes in with rain then it isn't the heater. Maybe the water is getting in where the heater hoses pass through the bulkhead?

thats where i will be looking at least now i know it is coming from that area, but if you have never seen the space i got to play with in a corsair.. its minimal. i have to completely take the heater out to see whats going on.
