Alright guys Wanting to get an arooga style horn for my truck but iv been told by a lad that they were illegal and can get pulled over for it, i know that the musical types are like the dixie horn but its the first iv heard, its a simple swap over and with it still being a horn don't think the police could pull you for it? ?

What are the best options for a really loud horn? Had a Stebel Nautilus on my old Extra van, but apparently they aren't available anymore. I should have taken it off before it got crushed

Figured my idea out. Get a 12v compressor, then fit some lorry or train horns. I like driving tiny cars but hate the meep meep "excuse me" horns they come with. When I had the nautilus on the van, I had some student types wander in front of me (not trying to cross the road, just being arrogant. ) A quick blast gave them the shock of their lives.

IIRC it is legal to have any other horn but you must have a standard horn for road use and MOT
