With too many cars, one of them has to go, so the BM is the ome that gets the chop. It's a '96 525 TDS SE Tourer M41 Turbo engine, Maunal box. The good points: Starts and runs fine, (Don''t they all when your're selling them) E36 17" multispoke wheels, fitted with Spigot rings and had the tracking done after they were fitted, so there's no nasty wheel wobble or driting action on motorways. The tyres (Budget ones) are all less than two months old. Front suspension was rebuilt last year. Glow plugs were new about 8 months ago. Factory fitted towbar. 127, 000 miles. The Bad points: Tax expires 30 April MOT Expires 04 May The Injection pump has developed a leak, which is an MOT failure, but the seal kit is £50 and would take a couple of hours to do, with the correct BMW tools. NSF Dipped headlight glass cracked, I've got a new lens for it sitting in a box. Only the Rear Offside window works, pretty common with 5 series. Leather on the steering wheel is split. Gotta go, so make an offer and I may be tempted, get in before May 4th and you can drive it away.   |

Shooters Hill, near Woolwich, The leak is 'Intermittant', if I keep the tank above half full it can 'Go away', it wasn't leaking when I arrived at work this morning.
The bast way I can describe it is to say that it drips, rather than pours.
It's certainly not enough to affect the milage, I'm still getting 35mpg on a run.

What a deal. These things are everything you could want from a car - good MPG, loads of space, RWD, decent enough power and this one is even a manual. Absolute steal.

ok sounds ok at the moment will check with the wife later as she will chauffeur me down I used to live in Bromley and I know shooters hill/Eltham etc quite well and had my first workshop in Woolwich behind the car Auction thats long gone! lol so should be no dramas! lol See ya soon. |

I think the problem here is that you haggled on the price when others were interested in the car, then expect to sell the same car to the same punters for alot more. I didnt haggle on the price I didnt buy it! If hamps wanted to sell it for more than he paid for it then surly thats up to him? money is tight at the moment and if people can make a few quid then whats wrong with that? do you think all business sell there product for what they buy it for? |
