i posted a sneaky pic of this last Thursday (20th April) when i picked it up with my mates Jag well had a damn good look around it today and have decided i am gonna have a crack at it! it looks a lot worse than it actually is (which is rare!!) its a pretty honest car, the chassis is solid and most of the floor is solid what it will need body wise and how i will sort it, i hope: bonnet - fibreglass boot - fibreglass wings - cologne arches rear arches - cologne arches o/s inner and outer sill - mk3 Capri items n/s outer sill and maybe inner sill - mk3 Capri items front valance - easy to make, just a curved bit of steel rear valance - mk3 Capri item boot floor - cut out and weld in a flat sheet of steel the plan is cologne arches, roll cage and a v8! anyways, enough chatter! pics!! and under the bay is actually pretty damn solid, despite looks! its mostly flaked paint after a poor re-spray! will be slow goin, but will update as and when things get done

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

I like it... It looks about the same condition as my escort when I got it (minus the copious filler and new wings) so looks like a good save! Only thing I wish I'd done different is listened to people who said spaceframe it before I chopped out and replaced the entire floor... Happy welding.

I'm sure you can, please leave the body ratted. Its nice to see it done properly! Especially if you shove the banded steels on this

This sounds like a great project, best of luck with it. The front lights look different to how I remember them, have they been "customised"? I like them if they have.
