There's always some kind of cool old retro vending vehicle along the Embankment.
An Airstream Coffee trailer, a couple of Austin Ice Cream Vans. IIRC one of them has a billboard with restoration photos on it.

I'm into what they dispense  However, my dad used to be an ice cream van, and the van doubled up as our family car. I've sort of had my fill of ice cream vans! But, think of the envious looks you got when you walked out of school, straight to the front of the queue and got free ice creams for you and your mates |

I used to drive one nearly 15 years ago, was a MK1 transit with an essex 3.0 v6 but still had the v4 gearbox and radiator...... used to overheat in traffic and the clutch slipped in 3rd and 4th if you floored it ;D But, get it right in 1st and 2nd and it gave many a local boyracer a suprise off the lights even loaded with 3 tubs of Dairylands finest  No pics unfortuanately but quite a few happy memories!! |
