I had some trouble with a guy in Germany who bought a bike exhaust off me on eBay some while back. He was whinging about the price of postage (£25 IIRC). I usually use Parcel Force. If the buyer wants to find cheaper options then that's up to them to do it. That sounds a bit mercenary but I think buyers should check the postage price before bidding . Sorry that isn't much help!

I've just used parcelfarce to send a windscreen frame and some bits to sweden. amtrack (with whom I have an account through work) wanted £70 + £20 customs clearance for surface mail. parcelforce airmail was £38. the package was nearly 4kgs, not far off what your ARB might weigh (prolly not far off on size, either). got to send a starting handle for a prefect to rio next. rio; FFS!!!!!
