Right! I'm putting my lovely 323i Coupe in Boston Green up for sale to make room for a new one.
MOT: 10/6/2012
TAX: 31/08/2012
It's got full MTech body kit (*1), beige leather interior, dual-zone climate control (*2), a bunch of speakers and an amp in the back (*3), FSH (*4), full electrics (*5), alloy wheels (*6),
1- I think it's been fitted as there it's not a genuine sport because it's not got the black headlining.
2- It has A/C however all the gas has leaked out so I just removed the belt that drives the A/C pump, can be supplied with the car.
3- Now the previous owner put all of that in there, don't ask what the set up is as I don't have a clue, all I did was plug my phono to 3.5mm jack into the amp input then ran my iPod through it, it's a pretty good system! And all of this will come with the car. There's also a CD changer in the boot, no idea if it works? Never used it!
4- when I bought it, it was overdue a service by about 4k so I changed the oil and had a good look over it not seeing any major problems. I have since changed the water pump to the fully cast aluminium impeller one + the thermostat so you don't need to worry about any overheating issues. It's also worth noting this IS NOT A NIKASIL ENGINE! So happy days! There are no untoward engine noises, it growls and pulls like a train!
5- Full electrics pack, has a 'Meta' alarm on it which works well, it locks on the remote. Electric windows all work, though the drivers side one doesn't like the one-touch when going up but you can hold it down like a conventional electric window and it works fine. Electric wing mirrors work nicely, as does the auto-dim rear-view mirror (if you've never had a car with this option, you haven't lived). It's also got ABS and ACS+T.
6- Alloys are all good, 3 tyres are good too, one will need changing soon though.
Bad parts...
There is some slight bodywork damage however I have put anti-rust stuff on it to prevent any rust forming. It will need a bit of filler & fettling to get it perfect but I'm also including a tin of Spray Paint to get started
I've got a print out of it's MOT history from the direct.gov website so can confirm it's got one. It passed without 'written' advisories, however the MOT man did say that the rear brakes may need some attention by the next one.
