As the title says, what you got in your rides? Big, Small, whatever, just wanna see your setups.
I'm just waiting for some of the bits to turn up so I can put some sounds in my Dolly. Got my Sub & Amp (From a previous car). Headunit, speakers & a new cap should be here next Monday/Tuesday.
Will be posting in the Readers Rides section showing the progress.

I gots some good stuff.... 12in sub, kenwood amp, decent head unit, expensive component jobbies..... f*cked if I can make any of it work properly though. What a waste of chops. Probably a bit overkill for radio 2 anyway....

As the title says, what you got in your rides? Big, Small, whatever, just wanna see your setups. . As a lot of the cars on here are rather distinctive, and not exactly difficult to get into I don't think you`ll get a great rush of people keen to advertise a host of decent sounds and where to find them on an open forum ;D Saying that I have Minidisc Head unit 2 channel amp powering front MB Quart components Mono Bass amp powering 10" sub in small enclosure But I am not telling you which car they are in ;D Got an Infinity Perfect 12.1 sub in a box for sale if your interested as well

AM/LW two knob OE Toyota 1979 - the speaker is in the grille on the top of the dash. Usually I forget to put the aerial up and then it doesn't pick anything up anyway.

I've got a Sony Single CD Head unit & one, oh yes ONE 4" speaker, nothing but the finest my my mota! Shame you can't hear it at all when the driving gets 'enthusiastic' though ;D

£80 Panasonic CD/MP3 head unit, two std VW door speakers (only one works) and replacement JBL rear speakers. Not much but plenty to listen to the traffic reports on

in the buggy i got the sweet sound of duel cannons and excited onlookers! who needs ICE? ;D
the mazdas totally standard at the minute. might put a stereo with ipod cable in there since my stupid stereo wont play the cassette deely with the headphone input. keeps trying to change sides.
golf is just a off the shelf cd jobbie.

I've got a Janspeed four-branch manifold and Ashley twin box 2" system with a single 3" stainless steel finisher. Fine soundz. Oh, you meant the wireless? Ford Premium Sound 2006. Got some fancy component speakers which were already fitted. Rarely even switch it on ;D

Just as Dom said its dodgy, but shamefully given my education and work areas, my stereos are near standard, so i got nowtto lose! ;D Had a face off in the Sapph but got bored of removing it and leaving glovebox open all the time. Went to Mondy Tape/radio job and a recently donated and not fitted Mondy amp. On the MR2 I have standard set up again with recycled BHS coat hanger for arial to pick up only Smooth FM, upgrades include new little speakers and propper ariel. sometimes I forget to switch on teh radio at all, the surround sound 4AGE gives a great soundtrack.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

The only sounds it had ;D The SE has 4 speakers, cruddy tape player and a bent aerial. Not the best of starts but I shall improve it gently with some decent components and a CD player

Monza - No sounds
- just 3 litres and 24 valves slurping thro a K&N and dumping the gases into a minimally silenced 2.5 inch straight thro sysyem
No point in sounds - no interior so it's rattly noisy and you'd never hear anything anyway
Polo
No sounds - everytime I fit some some toerag breaks in an nicks it so it's staying that way
LC
Single disc CD/radio std speakers
Senny
10 disk multichanger and r/c headunit std speakers
But I've got a rockford fosgate amp and sub plus some RF speakers for shelf and doors plus upgraded speaker wire and a 10 disc kenwood changer and head unit......
Not sure which car to fit it too or if I'll ever bother!!!

kenwood cd/ mp3 head unit. 2 x blaupunkt tweeters with built in passive crossovers. 2 x sony explode 80w 5 inch custom fit. 2 x pioneer 320w 6 x 9s. 800w legacy amp. 2 x 12 inch vibe subs, capable of handling 3600 between them. lots of very thick wire and a flipping huge fuse. amp will be upgraded sometime in the new year to something that can challenge the subs.

240K radio similar to Rmad and pretty much every J-car I've ever had, Clarion's finest pushbutton AM/LW mono 'pumping' through a rattly dash-mounted speaker. As I mostly listen to Radio 4 and can get that on LW it suits me fine.
It does have the luxury of a stereo cassette player too, which is a separate unit fitted from new as standard (opulent for 1979). Bizarrely this plays through a completely different pair of speakers on the back shelf, so you can have radio and cassette going at the same time. Or at least you could if I hadn't removed the upgrade speakers I once put in for something else.....
I'll happily drive around in silence though, straight-six makes a nice noise (plus always wise to listen out for any imminent catastrophe).
Camry has a pretty good standard-fit radio/cassette, which in a manner unbecoming of most Camry owners I use to play mid-90's Jungle slightly too loud. It matches the era of car and was what I'd got to hand.....
Ought to fit my JVC head unit and CD into it, if I can find somewhere to fit the changer it being an estate.
Reading this it appears most of us aren't really heavily into ICE! The quality of our cars makes up for it.....

There's me pretending not to be interested in ICE.... I must admit I'm excited ( ) about what I've acquired to go into one of my cars.... An early '80s Pioneer Din E headunit in silver, with matching separate amplifier, and a wired REMOTE CONTROL! Came out of my little bro's early E30 where it looked THE shizzle. Haven't decided whether to fit it in the Escort or the new '80s-tastic daily driver, for listening to '80s-tastic tunes... Where's that Prefab Sprout tape...

I though this may of been the case, I havent seen anthing at all to do with ICE since I've been on here. At the minute I don't bother with the radio thats in the Dolly because I can't pick any stations up. I love listening to music, but in my car is the only place I usually do.
