For sale is my Daily 1999 Ford Cougar, 2L Zetec in Silver.
90K Miles on clock, Will rise as i use daily.
Bought this a few months ago now with the intention to keep it.. However ive spotted a cool BMW I want and i can insure it
MOT Till late November, Tax till i THINK September? Or around there.
When i picked the car up it was look really tired for itself, paint was curse word, needed a service, needed front brakes doing
Since owning it i have:
-New front discs/pads
-Oil, Oil filter, Air filter, Spark plugs
-New CV Joint
-Kept it clean/polished.
-Replaced front bumper for a silver one.
-bought new original alloys with brand new tyres all around
Good points:
Its essentially a 3 door sporty mondeo, they look cool and are as bulletproof as a mondeo, same 2L Black top engine, Bulletproof motors
All tyres are almsot new, wont need replacing for ages!
I average 35-40MPG Daily driving, can get more, can get less.
Starts first time every time, no real mechanical issues bar what i mention in the bad points list.
Really comfy to drive
Bad points:(Being 100% honest here, Its no showroom queen but its not a bad car!)
-Paint is iffy, Both rear quarts have issues, One has laquer peel, Other has little scrapes, Bumper isnt great. However when cleaned 90% of it comes up good
-Small knocking noise going over bumps from the front, this IS the ARB Bushes (Advisory on last MOT) - 2x NEW ARB Bushes will be supplied with the sale, i havent had time to do it and it doesnt affect the car just an annoying noise when going over speedbumps
-Sometimes when not driven for a few days when first starting up and moving it struggles to go into 2'nd and 3'rd? I have no idea why and once warmed up it doesnt do it at all and clutch/gears are 100% fine. - It doesnt always do it on startup from cold, sometimes - My guess would be slave cylinder, I honestly don't know though.

Overall the cars a good example of what aren't that common cars, good MPG, Cheap parts and a fairly good lot of Tax/test on it

After £650. p/x? BMW E36 318 thats what I'm after next and ive found a few i like the look of hence the sale, Although feel free to offer a BMW as P/x If you have one, I will possibly add cash if the deal is good.
