Because you need a Throttle Postion Sensor and all the butterflies inside the manifolds restrict the airflow. And I should have made the ad a bit clearer, the throttle body is mounted on the end of the air box, between the filter and the inlet to the airbox pelunm, Make sense? No? A picture is worth a 1000 words: ;D  Have another 1000!  |

Sorry, no pictures of the actual mounting face, but it's 3 separate manifolds as per Triumph PI.  Shows the 3 separate inlet manifolds, PI manifolds converted to take a EFI injector.  And a close up of the middle manifold. After sandblasting, but before machining. |
