is everthiung a straight swap on a mk4 cortina to change from a 4 speed box to a 5 speed box?
same
flywheel, clutch starter gearbox mounts clutch and clutch arm etc??

It depends if the car is a 1600 or a 2 litre. The 2.0 prop, flywheel, clutch and starter will fit, the 1600 stuff won't. Clutch cable will fit regardless, speedo cable may be too short (sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't...) and you need a cortina auto or capri gearbox crossmember (capri will fit if redrilled). I'm assuming you mean a type 9 5 speed  |

yes mate a type 9 5 speed, its 2 litre pinto at present mated to a 4 speed box,
its actually on starcraft camper which was based on a mk4, ill get it all out and mated up see what is best for the cross memeber,

straight swap you just need crossmember as said above.
