Well thanks to Minion I am the extremely proud owner of a 1989 1043cc Volkswagen Polo saloon. It took a fair bit of effort but we made it there and back eventually! The brake cable on the trailer snapped on the way leaving us brakeless and also making it extremely difficult to load the Polo on the trailer (Kris to the rescue with bricks!). Is it lined up? Dad recons yes. Nearly ready to go. Heres what it looks like in the daylight. Thanks again to Kris, who needs to start a readers rides thread on his Audi (if you already have I need the link ;D) Adam

Touch with the stick will be done when I can afford it. Maybe some nice wheels aswell, but I'm going to concentrate on the things it needs for now!

Good man, looks fantastic with those wheel you've put on it too. Certainly looks a lot classier than my first car. (a 78 Chrysler Avenger)

Have fun with it?
Nope, you'll just get the p1ss taken outta you by 17-yr-old 'haters' whose only transport is their mum's 03 Korsa if they have been good.
Been there, done that! ;D
Still, we are the people that count and you get our RESTECP, so serve up a frothing mug of STFU to anyone who says otherwise.

(a 78 Chrysler Avenger) I assume the wheels comment is for the 2nd car, which is a different car! I sold the wheels on the 2nd car a couple of years ago for very little and I'm wishing I hadn't (for as you said, they look fantastic!). Adam

Glad you made it home ok If only everyone else could see us loading it on the trailer, its quite low already and the exhaust was catching on the trailer's rear crossmember so Adam and I yanked up the rear wheel arches while his dad drove it on and his sister stood there looking very worried ;D I forgot to say, try out the horn, its quite loud!! Was nice to meet you, I'm glad it's gone to a good home and defo keep us updated.

I'll give it a go!
Getting it off the trailer was much easier. Drove the Volvo up the drive (hill) so the trailer was at an angle. The ramps were flat with the trailer and the Polo went straight off.
