My exhaust is going all pfff pffff from the welds so it's time to modify everything.The engine is a 3 liter v6. I'm looking to get a nice deep sound and avoid high notes (prrrt prrrrrt) which with a v6, from my limited experience, it's not that easy to get. From the beautifully drawn diagram we can see that O it's the original system with to cats, an y joint, a central and a final box.
Before I start with the questions if anybody can redirect me to an easy to read and proved book or site I'll be glad to help myself.
1.Will i get any improvement in performance by removing the cats altogether?(it's a canbussed engine with all the sensors you can imagine)
2.Which one of the above systems to choose?I'm partial to the nr 1 system from a didgeridoo theory
3.If i split the system in two ways should i keep the same diameter I have right now or that should be halved too?Where should be positioned an eventual x pipe like in system 4?
