A lot of the drag Bugs run without any cooling at all, IIRC those barrels are liners from a diesel engine stuck on a wasser boxer case.

that car actually runs a full RWD set up, air shifted liberty 'box, ford 9" rear axle modified with CV joints on the end so it can steer.
The power goes through the 'box, then into the v-drive turning it through 180 degrees back thorugh the bulkhead and into the axle, which is upside down. All so it can run full size drag slicks to put the power down, it also means the drive line is very capable of running the power, a problem most 'import' cars have.
Monster!

I'm not really into the FWD drag machines, fundamentally the car isn't going to go like a RWD would do but I'd love to see them run. I am loving those bonkers turbo motors they run, a shame you can't gt a huuuuuuge 4-banger like that to run on the street.

you can get a huge four banger like that to run on the street, the scion uses a 2.7 toyota 3rz-fe, also the porsche 944 and 968 (I'm guessing ) came with a 2.5 and a 3L four cylinder unit. It would be mental running a 1400bhp turbo four on the street, i can only guess you would have to 'turn it down' for driving to the shops! J
