	as above really thought i will slowly upgrade my ice as and when cash allows first up it has alpine speakers but the original 20 year old wiring and also the onnectors in the door (connecting the speaker to the door loom) aint all that so i am going to replace it with just a decent speaker wire with the spade terminlas on them connecting to the speaker , does this sound okay to you guys? also how would i run it into the door plug? (corsa b) will this actually make a significant difference as i have a very decent sony head unit good alpine speakers.. next will ber an amp and possibly sub if i can find a slim sub at a decent price sorry for the novice ice question as I'm totally new to car electrics really!!

	In my experience as an ex car audio engineer, multiplugs on doors are virtually impossible to re-wire unless you have an extraction tool and new pins. They are crimped together and then inserted into the housing making them almost impossible to remove without an extraction tool. If you want to replace the speaker cables it would be easier to drill new holes in the door and B post and have a new cable run (don't forget to use grommets though). However, Unless the original cables are damaged its a bit pointless as the improvement you will hear will be in your mind!! In other words the difference is so negligible I doubt that you will hear anything different unless you want to!!
