For sale my 1998 S reg Escort 75 1.8 Turbo Diesel van in white and black lower 1/3rd
MOT to 20th September 2012, Tax just run out today 132603 miles
Its been a good reliable van. My brother ran it for over 2 years and i've run it for the last 6 months.
Has the better turbo diesel engine so actually accelerates and its also the higher weight capacity as it’s the 75 van. Has a substantial tow bar fitted
Solid rear doors (no windows) and ply lined in back with bulkhead.
Good tyres all round on 14" steels
Lots of new parts fitted last September including:
New front lower wishbones
New front brake discs
New front brake pads
New rear brake shoes
New handbrake cable
New fuel tank
New glow plugs
For the previous MOT it had a new rear brake load valve and exhaust back box
So shouldn't need much for a while now.
Few little issues as you expect from a 14 year old work van. There are rust scabs on the roof above the windscreen, couple of chips in the windscreen (not MOT issues), front bumper is cracked/damaged but never bothered me.
Lower 1/3rd has been rubbed down because of rusty scabs, treated with Bilt Hamber rust inhibitor and then stonechipped
