Right, I need to replace a couple of the springy locating balls on the legs of my fiamma awning. Now the issue is I have no idea what I call them do I can buy some new ones.
They are like 5mm ball bearings that are sprung so the tube they are on can slide inside another but hold in place when extended and the ball finds a locating hole in the outer tube
Hope that makes sense and someone can help as its really annoying me!!

I don't know about fiamma awnings but normally they are different to the diagram above. Think bent length of spring steel with piece of chromed rod that has end rounded off attached - simple as that. You just slide new ones down the tube until the rod locates in the hole. Here you go - www.johnscross.co.uk/products/Replacement-Tent-Awning-Pole-Spring-Buttons.htmlAre you sure your originals haven't just been pushed too far down the tube ? Paul H

Contact Fiamma (or a good Fiamma agent) and they'll be able to supply all the correct parts. When my Fiamma awning got damaged in strong wind (the wind whipped the awning up despite being pegged/tied down) and it snapped two brackets, I was able to buy all the individual parts to fix it. Didn't cost that much either. They usually have exlpoded diagrams where you can choose the right part and order by the correct part number. [edit] Here is a list of all the Fiamma awnings in exploded diagram form and all the relevant part numbers: www.fiammastore.com/Fiamma-Awning-Spare-parts-for-motorhome-and-caravan Hope that is of some help?
