Hi there,
Ok so my car is a 1999 Subaru Impreza. I noticed the other day that the clutch was sticking as I set off from a standstill, and a squeak had developed. The clutch also smells occasionally as I set off, due to it sticking. I lubed up the pedal but still the squeak persisted. I have traced the squeak possibly to a piston that pulls the clutch fork that's connected to the clutch cable. The cable itself I don't think is squeaking and it seems to be coming from the piston itself. I am unsure as to weather the item can be taken apart as it may just need greased up.
If anyone has had experinace with kind of problem please help ;D
I have attached a pic of where I believe the problem to be originating from.
