I suggest the first Sunday of the month (that gives us time to organise it and get Xmas out the way!)
I'd just be guessing at a suitable venue though, as I'm not familiar with the area. Suggestions welcome!

Why not just choose a McDonald's car park near the motorway network.
How about the one at the snipe retail park.
I'm in Bury so it's not on my doorstep but seems to be central enough for everyone.
How about next Sunday 14th Dec 12:00hrs as an initial meet up and natter then sort a regular place out once we have numbers.
I will be there in my little mx5.

From what I understand, chain restaurants aren't very accepting of car people meeting up in their car parks. Aside from the negative image car meets tend to put in people's minds (boy racers and burnouts) , I think they get jittery concerning insurance.
I know there would probably only be a few of us at first, and it'd just look like some blokes standing around near their cars chatting (which I suppose it would be!) but to me it'd be better to get a venue that we can work with in the future if and when it grows into more than a few people and their cars. Just my opinion!

The snipe is a big retail park with a massive car park and a few stores. I'm pretty sure there won't be a massive turn out the first meet. Why not just meet on Sunday then sort a suitable place out from there?? Anyone else up for it? That sounds good to me. I'd be up for meeting next Sunday. |

Snipe is very local to me and yes a very big car park we also have Ashton moss with Hollywood bowl/ Cineworld/franky and Benny's/ Chiquitos/ Nandos/ KFC and A Starbucks at the village hotel.
What sort of time? Will you be looking at?

The entrance into McDonald's car park is within the main retail car park. How about we meet outside the entrance to McDonald's on the retail park car park. I will be there in my mx-5 so look out for me. Anyone else coming along? |
