Well ive been out and ive found a cafe that's about 5 mins off the motorway, set on a quiet road with lots of parking. There are good smells coming ;D out of there too ideal place I would say IT WOULD BE THE PLACE IF WERE GONNA TRY AND GET A MEETING GOING . I need to see if the owner's up for a Sunday opening  , so is any one still interested, I could do with some numbers as I don't want to be the only one there.  Nice one, count me in.  Oh and benzboy welcome to the republic of mancunia enjoy the stay. Thanks! Settling in nicely. It's a bit rainy but never mind! ;D |

right we got a venue, 5 mins off the M60 @ ASHTON .
its a paintball place (we get discount there too ) so we could have a paintball afternoon or sit in the pub chat car's, eat food offer help on projects and vue the cars .
its got a good sized car-park and its gated off the road so the cars will be safe,
they have offered to put food on when we have meetings or we can use the pub across the road,

Used to pedal up to the barn on the weekends with a few mates. Hit 40 once on the road down to the reservoir.

Hi guys, just joined up on here....id be interested in meeting up if your not alergic to french motors....I'm in chadderton myself so Ashton is a stone's throw away for me.... Ive got a pretty rare daily driver so you may have seen this car around town? If so then i was driving it as it got "imported" from Anglesey over to Manchester when i bought it in July this year. I'm up Bury way but I don't mind travelling a bit to get to a meet! Anyone got any suggestions for a venue? If you see a big old Audi Avant around, give us a wave. |

come on guys mantamorfin sorted the place up to you guys now come up with a date etc ;)on the upside iam going be doin his car next few weeks so he can get his  out of the scooby so if paintball don't float ya boat maybe a cafe meet back on the cards just a thought ;D |

This seems to have ran out of steam! Any support in getting it going again?
It looks like we've got enough members in the area to get the beginnings of a decent meet, we just need a time and a place.
Personally all I'm bothered about is a cafe that serves a decent cup of tea and some like-minded folk with retros. I'm not that fussed about paintballing or other stuff... tea, cars and a bacon butty would do me!
