	Chaps I have bought some adjustable lowering springs (Ebay coilys - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350399097720?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) What tools doI need to replace my standard springs? General mechanics tools + spring compressor? ...or as I wont need a spring compressor to get the springs on (I can just turn them down to fit) can I take the suspension out/spring off by just releasing it off ie wheel off - brakes off - hub off - jack under wisbone to hold the tension, undo the bit that holds the spring on, and release the jack down nice and slow? I'm finding it hard to explain.. Do you get me? 	I did once replace a rear shock-absorber/strut once (McPherson/Chapman Strut) in a similar method to that you are implying. Rear of car on stands. Jack under rear wishbone. Left the top & bottom bolted to the car & undid the top bolt securing the end of the strut/shock-absorber & slowly let the jack down to release spring tension. Or was car on wheels & slowly jack car up? Too long ago.

	for the sake of a tenner id get some clamps, will need them if you decide you want to put the originals back on, i had a set of the ebay coilovers like those, put them on my mx5 , it was horrific, made me feelill riding in it, the mrs hated it and refused to go in it, the ride was soo hard, and every bump almost threw me out my seat. i have same sorta set on the front of my celica, this is too firm also, but not as bad as with the spazda but i put shorter shocks in. hope it was just mine and yours is ok but either way, a lot easier- and safer! with compressors

	good advice il just spend the £10 I have had these same ebay coilovers on my Saxo VTS and I thought they were great. I took the car to brands hatch and it handled a dream! Hence I thought id try them out on the Teg..
