Due to losing a company car, we're having a bit of a change around with our cars, which is why i've decided to sell my little Fiat.
Unfortunatly it does have very short Tax & MOT, and a few issues which are detailed below.
Model: Fiat Cinquecento Sporting
Year: 1996
Mileage: 75386
Tax: Expires March 2012
MOT: Expires 31st March 2012
Location: Sawtry, Cambs
Price: £150
Contact details: Pm
The bad points first : I have a feeling that it will need a new fuel tank, as when filled completely, it does leak, although it's more of a drip than a flood, and it does stop once the fuel has gone down a little bit. I recently filled up about half way and there was no dripping.
Recently the injector light has come on on the dashboard. The car still starts and drives fine, however about a month ago it did cut out on me after a very short distance ( I was still in 2nd ) and it wouldnt start. After leaving for a day it started fine and I was able to drive it home.
There is a rust patch on the skuttle and the drivers seat has a rip in the bolster. There is also a slight crack in the front bumper.
The good points : It's a nice little car . For an 1100 it's quite nippy and has coped with both country lane driving and motorways without issue. Only 2 door, but quite a bit of space in the back. Electric front windows both work.
It still starts and drives, so in theory you should be able to drive home, but due to the issue I had, I can't guarentee this.
The plan was to put it through an MOT, get the injector light and fuel tank sorted, and keep it, but plans changed.
I know i've only got a few posts compared to some on here ( which i'm planning on increasing ) so, as requested, I have Pm'd my details to a mod .
