Can anyone recommend someone decent for rust repairs and restoration in or around South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire/North Nottinghamshire?
Ideally someone who's happy making up their own repair panels etc. and isn't expensive ...

I'd personally go down the route of: + = Good body repair is expensive as a general rule because it's such a pain in the to do it right

Good body repair is expensive as a general rule because it's such a pain in the to do it right I know - I had some good work done by some guys in Dronfield (trading as Tinkerbells I seem to remember) a few years back, but they don't seem to be around any more. Phil

Volvo 262C - scuttle, C-pillars, arches, door bottoms, spare wheel wells and a few other minor bits and pieces ...

I'd deffo go down the welder, sheet metal, angle grinder and portable garage route if you are short of any of the above. I don't do bodywork for customers as my welding isn't at the sort of standard I'd deem necessary but there's a fair amount of work there that probably more than equals the value of the car if you want it done well Just my opinion like

It's time more than anything (although my welding is, shall we say, not the best).
Re value - I agree, which is why I need someone cheap and good ...
