Ladies and Gentleman we are pleased to announce Retro Rides will indeed have its own show for 2007. Its home will be at MALLORY PARK, Leicestershire, and will indeed take place over a full 3 day weekend. We have lots planned, and much more being discussed, but one thing thats for sure is that every aspect will have a focus on CARS! Features include : A large section of the circuit will be used to form a sprint track for you guys who want to play in the twisties. Naturally, a large show and shine and club display area A massive TARGETED trader area - all the best, and no 'legal highs' Guest and demo cars Guest attendees and speakers Large bar with motorsport dvds playing throughout! On the sunday there is a full race meeting planned (its 80% def a brscc meet - you guys attending RR07 will have full access to view the race meeting, with numerous retro series racing throughout the day Theres also gonna be a track for you guys who wanna race and play with your r/c cars, and even an area dedicated to people who prefer to tinker with airfix rather than airtools. Naturally, prizes and trophies will be available for various categories and achievements Now just all prey for sunshine!!

TOP BANANA! is this being thrown specifically for us? hmmm, 10months to finish the kitten, and counting. This is for the whole retro scene.. we'll be doing a full advertising campaign when we've got the details nailed down completely. Very good initiative! If I still have my car by then I would really like to come... We'll be giving a "long distance" award for people that have travelled the furthest to get there Be ace to see you... and any friends you can bring

Hmm, it's "only" 700 kilometres to Leicester! I'll have to make sure none of those Norwegians and Swedes with their excellent cars want to come! ;D How about a live restoration type thing? I know just the car for that...

Fantastic news! Brilliant time of year as the middle of August often seems to be a bit quiet and a venue I've never been to either. If there's ANY chance of electric hook up camping it would help us and perhaps others out hugely - figure that's best said sooner rather than later. I know you guys must have been doing a load of work already but if there's anything I can help with let me know.

Ooooooooooof! I'm excited already. I have a nice fat wodge of a break from uni break around that time, and it's nicely spaced from CARS so as not to tread on no toes or dilute the amount of people who will wanna show up.
AWESOME, GNARLY etc etc etc!11!!11on!1e!

what sort of facilitied does the camping have? Will there be showers? its a great place, full of history and charm. Its labelled as 'the friendly circuit' and it really does have that feel to it. They have a number of permanent toilets, which naturally we will add to. There will be showers in the camping area. There will even be catering in the caming area, thats how good this is going to be! ;D

I am assuming that this will be some kind of annual event? Being that I doubt I could make this one coming but if it becomes annual I'll certainly endaevour to make one of them! (would hope the year after the first one)

Seth re: help - HTW and i need to speak. Nothing will happen till Jan. But when then comes, your location to the ace could prove bl00dy useful! Okely Dokely Cheers Keefy. For me it could well be the difference between not being there until Sunday morning or having a chance of persuading Katie to have a weekend away
