I have no details about this, just found it in the for sale section at www.thecoolvw.com, although there's no price or details. Just these pics... Some nice ideas going on here, I'm not into my bikes but I could ride this quite happily and as there are some two wheel fans around these parts, I thought why not? I really like the rim mounted rim with rubber drive belt and all that... ;D Plus to keep it on four, this is for sale on there for £3750... some other very reasonably priced vans too.

That is so seriously cool. That's what I'm going to be doing with a 125 once the Anglia is done. Next project is 2 wheels, just got to find an old enough bike to chop up

Jon, when (not if!) you build yours if you make it even a tenth as good as that one it will be superb!

bryn in da house: I really like the rim mounted rim with rubber drive belt and all that...That's just sooooooo deadly cool I don't really know what to do with all the imput from that thing!!!!! Just goes to show you don't need an "Angry Dad" (Sr at OCC) or a Monster Garage with a bunch of expensive, shiny stuff to crank out coolness.... jonny69 in da house: Next project is 2 wheels, just got to find an old enough bike to chop upFrom what I have seen of your Kustom Bicycles you really have an eye for the slightly off beat when it comes to 2-wheel building and I really think you could pull of some real hot wheels, go for it..... I have mentioned somewhere in here that I bought 2 speedway bikes from Tony Rickardsson, it's the "Old School" upright Java types of bikes that Tony once many moons ago bought from another Swedish Speedway legend, Manolito. I had plans to do one as a 1/8 mile Nostaliga Drag Bike but that's put on hold for a Custom Speedway Bike DP Stylee, just set up that frame and motor on the bench and it "Talked to me", this will a verry different Custom Bike and it's already booked in for Custom Bike Show 2007, don't even think I'll get a ticket to 2007 European Championship Of Custom Bike Building but Custom Bike Show, is an affiliate to AMD.... For those of you who like 2-wheels and non linear thinking Jesse Rook www.rookecustoms.com and Roland Sands www.rolandsands.com are two of my stateside faves, overe here it's Stellan at Se Service www.seservice.se and Isto at Cheimcal Choppers www.chemicalchopper.com that rule. Also take a look at the AMD site for some "Beauty and the Beast" scoots amdchampionship.comDP says: Looks like next spring there'll be a need for a 2-wheel department in here....

Some great links there DP, especially liking Jesse Rooke's Darla - seamless mix of traditional and cutting edge design.

It's a Piaggio Ciao moped motor (turned upsidedown).....
DP says: I have a couple of those in a shed.....

It really reminds me of this: I think it used to be twin Harley Twin powered and methanol fuelled IIRC - legendary

rooke's stuff is great i love his swing arm with integrated caliper, great mis of old and new but with bags of style, not like those chops with all the paneled shizle going on, would it be possible to do a belt drive on a bmx instead of a chain, I'm loving that 2nd rim idea
