Hi all,
I've been having some problems with my Volvo S60 2.0 turbo. Although it's a 2001 car and not a retro I thought I may be able to get some help from the guys on this section.
Anyway, to the problem. It started off hunting at idle, at traffic lights etc, This has stopped happening as much now after a decent service. However now after a run (motorway etc), when I stop to park the car the engine is hunting much more severely, from 500-1000rpm. The revs dip so low that the engine is almost cutting out, and threatens to stall if I move the steering. It almost sounds like the engine is starved of air when its almost cutting out.
Now, this doesn't happen everytime I use the car, but a couple of times a week and I'd like to get it sorted. I was thinking it could be a vaccuum leak maybe? or something more serious.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to sort it, but money is tight. I will try and get a video of it next time it does it, and post it on here.
Cheers in advance, Phil
