The fuel filler neck on my first gen Hiace is soft rubber for most of its length, jubilee clipped to a stub on the side of the tank. I'm taking the tank off to fix a leak and I want to replace the rubber pipe at the same time.
Will it be ok to use a bit of radiator hose or will there be something special about the rubber used? When the tank is full so is the lower section of the rubber pipe so it's got petrol sitting in it most of the time. Google tells me silicone radiator hose is a definite no.
