Why would you Banger a car like that? I thought it was usually cars which were more or less running but beyond the point of being roadworthy?

It does seem like a shame but assuming the racer acquired it honestly then I don't think it's our place to slate the seller. My guess is that he wants to have an awesome race car at the next meeting just as much as we'd want to roll into the next show in our slammed Lada wagon.
Also, pass too much judgement and we won't be offered the spares either and then it really would have died for nothing.
That said, I really hope that someone does manage to save this...there certainly aren't many old-shape ones left.

to anyone moaning because its being raced.... i could have been a real  and strip the stuff out and threw it away but thought id be decent and offer it to you lot first... if your interested then email me... if your not then don't... but if you give me a decent enough offer for the whole car needs a bit of weld on wing and a little on floor... then send me an offer.... everythings for sale at right price!!!!! |

"it only needs weld on front pass wing and bit on floor.... also clutch slave cylinder is seized solid....

That's a LHD saloon in another country. Interesting, but not exactly a good comparison. As I've said already, it's up to the seller to do what he wants. This thread is for people who want to buy parts, not opinions. Billy, if you do have a price that would 'save' the car from the track it would be worth knowing rather than the debate go on and on. Then people can put their money where their mouth is. |

hello lads
i don't want to come across as a ooooooo but I'm keeping the car... but i am willing to sell all the parts i am not going to use. so come and have a look and get yourself some parts...
so far ive sold dashboard, driver front windows. front and rear bumper, seats and doorcards.... everything else is still avaiable but nothing has been collected yet.... if someone going to offer rediculous money then i will sell complete... but cant see it happening to be fair... feel free to give me a ring. 07837190422 cars at PE15 0SR...... cheers lads billy
