Up for sale is my bmw 328 automatic, it has twelve months mot (just flew through with no advisories) and tax till 31.5.12. So its all ready to go!! I originally brought this to either matt black or army green it and have a bit of fun but it is to solid/good for me to do that so I just want to recoup what it owes me and I will find a ropey one to do that to or I might get another mk2/3 golf and do it to that!
Its done 187000 miles but still starts and drives very well. Its very smooth and has the bonus of sports/winter mode on the gearbox. I put 4xnew tyres on it about 300miles ago so there is plenty of life left in them, it has full leather but does have some wear on the drivers bolster and the carpets could do with a good scrub up(as you can see from the pictures I didn’t have any time to clean it inside or out!) it has dual climate control although this is temperamental on when it works! It will be one of two things either a 50p resistor in the heater unit and a guide is about online how to do this yourself or it might be the fdr plug but these can be had off eBay for around £30/40 it just didn’t really bother me as only used it as a second car. It still has the warning triangle etc in the boot and I am waiting on the service history to be sent to me so unsure how much of this there is. The man who had it before me upgraded the dipped beam to HID with ballast units and the result is awesome! Dipped beam seems better than full beam on my other cars! He also “fitted” a induction kit, I'm not sure how he thought a bungee cable was appropriate but again I haven’t really looked into fixing it properly but you could easily fab up a bracket to hold it there properly.
Bad bits, it is a old car so by no means is it mint, the sills seem incredibly good but the rear wheel arches have a few bubbles and the boot has a scab of rust that could do with being nipped in the bud before they get any worse, the climate unit as I said earlier is temperamental, it is missing a front fog light, and when selecting a gear you need to keep your foot on the brake as otherwise it will creep off forward or backwards depending on what gear you have picked, again didn’t really bother me as it didn’t seem to slip etc when driving it just when stationary.
So all in all its not the best colour but it is a solid fast example of a e36 and it looks like its had a fair bit spent on it!, it seems far to good for me to mess about with so thought id see if someone wanted to save it before I get bored and start stripping the paint off! If you need anymore pictures or want to know anything else either email irelstephen@aol.com or call/txt 07850962402. The car is in saxmundham Suffolk and I would like to see around £500 for it but I am open to offers/pxs just try me!
