Let me first say, I don't dig the use of the word "roadster" for this. It seems like an easy way to justify the lack of working soft top. Otherwise, it's a really good job. If someone described it to me ("It's got nice wheels, matte paint, all the brightwork is blacked down, it's got shaved handles and the roof chopped off"), I think I'd say "Meh, not bad, but I've seen all that done before". Remember the Bell Aurens Longnose? When I first saw that, I was trying to think of ways that I (with limited cash and skills) could do something cool to a landie. This could be it but, y'know, with a roof. That Blazer needs to go a foot in either direction, either dropped on bags and billets, or jacked up on beadlocks and mudtyres.
As it is, it looks a bit 'sterile'.

Its lower than stock.
Now I was expecting a repost of that one on big billets and airbags from the other week but this I think I like a lot more as its a simpler build and looks more of a driver.

By 'sterile' you mean usable ? I like it as it is, not too much, just a pick up without a roof and nice paint, but style all over it.

Sterile is a good description, but not in a bad way, it's clean and purposeful.
Also I'm not sure it should be allowed to breed anyway.

There's one detail that bugs me though, it's the junction between the rear of the door and the body: they're not the same height... Apart from that it's clean and simple. Lovely!

I like this, it's the right height, the wheels are the right size as are the tyres, the colour looks great as does the lack of chrome. Simple, utilitarian and eminently usable, just as a pick-up ought to be.

When you type '72 blazer on google images it shows mostly roadsters so yeah it doesn't seem to have been modified. They have solved the door problem though :

At the risk of being a pedant, I believe a roadster has to have a folding winscreen. A fixed screen like thd Blazer has makes it a cabriolet I think....
