Ive seen a set of wheels I like but the seller hasn't got a clue of the offset! They are off a renault 5 turbo which if I'm correct is the same pcd as the mx5 but is the offset going to be about right? also what about the center bore?
Thanks
Stu

MX5 = 4x100 ET35>ET42 CB: 54.1 Renault 5 = 4x100 ET38>ET45 CB: 60.1 Simply searched: www.carlsalter.com/wheel_fitments.htmlBasically, yes they will fit fine and you won't need spigot rings because MX5's are boltcentric, not hubcentric. The arches are quite deep though so to make it look better, you'll probably want some spacers. If you do that, you might want to then think about getting some spigot rings too....

Purely out of interest, what makes you say they're bolt-centric Bruce? I remember mine having distinct spigots on the hubs. I don't doubt you, I'm just curious as to what decides it on a car with spigots.
On topic, I did run BMW wheels (57.1mm centre bore) on the back of mine without spigot rings with no issues, over a fair few miles and a fair bit of quite aggressive driving and crappy roads, with decent tyres on them.

TheBaron had turbines on his trials Roadster, might be worth checking his build thread to see how he managed it?
