Hi guys, time has come to part with my car. . . Its a 1998 323i (2.5 straight 6) with 145k miles. Pretty impressive service history from new all documented with service book and receipts, original owners handbook in wallet and folder full of info. Dark metallic blue (montreal) with cloth interior. Dual zone climate / aircon, electric goodies and photochromatic rear view mirror. 12 months test as of yesterday, 6 months tax . 17" M3 relicas with good tires, they need a refurb though as a couple are very scabby indeed. Usual E36 scabs on rear arches and bottom of doors but a solid car. Been a great car for me, 100% dependable but time for a change!    call me if you like on 07939 645019 Cheers, Daz. |

Hmmm tempting, seems cheap too, any interior pics? what the fuel consumption like, i get mid 20's out of my tuned 328i vert if i don't drive like a complete egyt, i imagine this should be a little better?
Does the aircon work?

I'll put some interior pics up later fella, aircon works fine too!
MPG is great on a run, around 32mpg rubbish around town but i have a lead foot, to be honest i just put the juice in and don't take much notice!

Ha ha yeah i know that feeling, i gave up checking my mpg on anything other than a long run years ago...
any advisories on the test?

It needed a front spring, rear wheel bearing and front flexi hose, hoses are pretty new but it chafed on the grommet.
All done now, just an advisory on track rod end, steering wheel sits about 15 degree off centre so they could do with replacing and tracking up.

I nterior pics as requested.    Forgot to add it has traction and stability control thats switchable, and 6 disc bmw changer in boot. Even original first aid kit and glovebox torch are present. |

wow looks very tidy, never tried a 323 i was holding out for a similarly tidy 328i touring, you're a bit of a long way to go to find out.... not sure, but very tempted

I had a 328i saloon a couple of years ago, the only difference i can tell is the 328 had a bit more torque and a wee bit more power at the top end, not much in it though to be honest!
The airbox has had the restrictor removed on mine this helps it breath much better, that and the inlet manifold are what hold them back.
The airbox is exactly the same as the 320, done on purpose due to tax reasons in germany, an induction kit thats sealed from engine heat really helps, that and a remap would see 200hp easy.
