As the title says, is it possible? A friend has a car in his sights and the seller has not got the documents, it is not dodgy and well known to him they are just misplaced. Is it possible to find out when it is due an MOT? All pictures supplied by Google search  Relevant pics:     |

Without docs?
Hmm, I wonder if the system which the MOT garages allow them to check for you? Might cost you £10 (I'd imagine the same way as if you were to get a duplicate)

There isn't really any provision for checking due dates on the MoT system, printing out a duplicate is the best way of finding it out. The other way is to enter the details for a test, and have a look to see if it is extending the expiry date - this only works if there is less than a month left. More than a month remaining and it will just issue a 12 month test.  |

Used a bit of 'thinking outside the box' and the owner checked his credit card statements! 8th June was when done last Just thought I would post up so if anyone else has the same problem it might work for you |
