Following the success of discussion about L.R. discovery's in my thread entiiled 'POGWEASEL, these are the 7 transits', I'll start another about these 4X4s, just for a little fun. Which Discovery do you prefer? The first? The second? or The third? Personally, I like the second. I think it's the most beautiful and well designed 4X4 ever made. Which do you like?

The First, they actually kept it real didnt they?
However i like the quirky design of the new en, most posers just buy the Range Rover Gangster-footbo11ocker-will-mellorz-sport type thing

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Sorry, I prefer mine 'proper'..... none of this 'technology' or 'comfort' rubbish thankyou. As previously abused by me an Brussell. That said, an early disco on lift springs with big wheels, snorkel etc. would rock quite hard. V8's only need apply.

Gotta be the 1st for me. Really love em. Three doors are supposed to be really cheap to insure. Love them lifted on big Mud terrains. There was a sweet one in TOR the other month (might have been last month) which was lifted and had an obscene amount of articulation.

The 110 belonged to my Brother in Law, until it got shamelessly ponced by some traveller b*stards... It was a '88 F that had had a fortune thrown at it... 300TDi conversion, gearbox, rear disk axle, snorkel, BIG Muds... blah blah... Had just got it back from getting the turbo swapped, and fuelling sorted... it had taken 3 years to get it to that point... FINALLY finished... Got Nicked... Holes.... The Disco was mine, Mud Tyres, Steering/Diff Guards, Snorkel, A-Bar, Spots, Jackable Sills.... 200TDI... I loved it... AND they got used.. PROPERLY. After the 110 got nicked, then the 90 he replaced it with got nicked.... he got another 90, but had lost heart... and was constantly worried about that one getting nicked... so he's got a Nissan Navarra now... so we stopped playing in the mud... and the disco was an expensive driveway ornament

SKODASTOP,
You live near me. I remember a Skoda like that one in your Avatar being restored in Eccleston, St.Helens, about 5 years ago. You wouldn't have anything to do with it, would you?

However i like the quirky design of the new en, most posers just buy the Range Rover Gangster-footbo11ocker-will-mellorz-sport type thing The Range Rover Sport is actually based on the Discovery - not the Range Rover at all. The Supercharged V8 Range Rover is apparently quicker than the Sport

Hmm... Series 1 for me. My Dad's got the 3.9 V8 version and it's the absolute nuts.
