Its time for me to move on from owning a Corsa, its been a great little car for me but thats it, its too small for what I need.
Vauxhall Corsa Sport 1.6 16v
1998 R-Reg
Tax until April 2012 (so the rest of March and the end of April)
MOT until January 2013 (so 10 months)
104k miles and rising as in daily use
30+MPG on a run
Lots of receipts from previous owners plus all receipts from since we have owned the car (April 2011)
Good bits -
Standard Corsa Sport features such as
PAS
ABS
Electric windows
Electric heated mirrors
Manual Sunroof
Vauxhall 14ins Cavalier Alloys
Debadged bootlid with Punto wiper and colour coded handle
Tinted Astra G side repeaters
Carbon fibre engine cover
Serviced before MOT with new oil, filter, coolant flush and anti-freeze mix.
Recently replaced rear brake shoes and bearings
Tyres less than 1000 miles old
3 Keys
Bad bits -
Bubbling on bonnet and crazed paint
Minor dents and folded edges on bootlid (blame Royal Mail and the guy who sent me it.....)
Rear demister doesn't work (the bootlid had a limo-tint and the contact pathways must have broke when I removed it)
6ins scratch on drivers rear quarter (jealous neighbour with a key I think)
Stonechips and other age-related marks
Stiff gearchange occasionally (clutch cable or gear linkage I suspect)
Please don't let the list of bad bits put you off, essentially it comes down to how well presented you want the car to look. I'd have no problems jumping in and driving any distance with it. Since we owned the car, it has never broken down and has taken me lots of places for events in the UK, Slverstone, Cadwell Park, the NEC.
Also available if you want them is the old rusty tailgate (has good wiper assembly and spoiler), and the original 5 spoke Sport alloys though 2 tyres are below the legal limit and a couple of the centre cap threads are duff.
