;DHi, I'm new here. I've had a little look round, and this site looks quite cool. Let me introduce myself. I'm 20 years old from St.Helens, Merseyside, and I LOVE Ford Transit Mk3 diesels!! ;D I know they're vans, but I think they make a fantastic noise, and I like the way they look - very 80's. I don't own one, or know if ever I will. I like other retro cars, too, including these types: Triumph Dolomite Sprint Ford Sierra (All models including Sapphire) Ford Escorts (Mk2, 3 & 4) Ford Fiestas (Mk1 & Mk2) Morris Ital Morris Minor Skoka Estelle Lada Riva Vauxhall Nova Vauxhall Astras (Mk1 & Mk2) Vauxhall Cavaliers (Mk1 & Mk2) Austin Mini Austin Metro (A Series) Talbot Sunbeam... ...and loads more! I don't own a car (yet!). I don't like modifications. I like old cars (around the 1980's) in new condition. So, that's a short introduction. I hope to enjoy myself here!

Wow, you've got very specific choices! What's odd is that i know exactly what you mean about the noise.... grew up with the Mk3s being used by every company on earth and they were so distinctive Welcome to R-R, hope you enjoy it!

you can be my friend lmao welcome. you know, i love mk3 too. i really do think they're mint. we had a 1.6 Popular version for a long while. I love all transits, but mk3s are the ultimate to me. the latest transit is just a disgrace to the badge!

I've only recently left ownership of a 2.5 Diesel Turbo (Auto!) Tourneo and I'm still a fan of MKIIIs, but I would never describe that loud, lumpy chugging as a fantastic noise! ;D
Welcome to the board!

RDD that one isnt very stock, I'm not too sure how modified it is, but the body work may have been chopped around to fit on the XJ220 chassis?

Hello and welcome! Mk3 Transits - what an excellent (and completely random) choice of favourite vehicle. Nice one! I'm starting to like them more and more - Mk1's and 2's are a given, but Mk3's must be starting to be appreciated as they're pretty old! I'd love one. Especially with XJ220 running gear

MK3 Tranny. Love those bad boys, didnt enjoy driving the big pick up much though, I should be renting a newer one in a few weeks. You need to get one soon, hang around here too much and you'll end up bagging mad stuff and modding perhaps. Welcome to the mad house, plenty of your list on here... Silent chuckle at Hitman

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
