Here's my beloved BMW. I've had it since Nov 2009 and it's a great car but I needed more room so I've just bought an estate and unfortunately it has to go.
It's in great condition - 4 owners, FSH (some BMW) and lots of paperwork to go with it. HPI checked when I bought it and was all clear. Original tool kit, first aid kit, BMW torch & 2 keys all still present too...
The car's been very well looked after - in the last two years I've had a recon gearbox, a new fuel pump and a number of suspension bushes and ball joints replaced..
Everything works as it should - it has:
- Grey leather
- 6 CD multichanger
- Dual climate control
- Steering wheel controls
- Cruise control
- Rain sensing wipers
- Adaptive auto gearbox - alters shifting pattern on driving style / sport mode / steptronic mode
- ABS, PAS and traction control
Mechanically its in great condition - very reliable, starts first time, pulls well and no worrying noises from the engine or box.
Interior's in great nick and the grey leather makes it nice and light inside.
Bodywork's also very clean - there are a couple of small marks on the bumpers etc from 15 years of parking. The whole body is rust free except for one rear arch which has just started bubbling but still under the paint - see the pic. The alloys are also all free from kerbing.
Bad bits:
- The boot lid only opens on the key - think it'd need a new solenoid for the switch to work again but hasn't been a problem for me.
- Slight bubbling on one rear arch described above
This is a cracking car with real presence and is totally standard and unmolested - lots of car for a little bit of money!
