Desperately looking for a car and had a look at 2 which both seemed perfect, but i have seen some issues that i am not sure if they are serious or even issues at all.
Firstly i went to look at a fiat punto 2001 1.2. It looked good and the engine sounded fine, there was however a lot of oil splattered around the engine compartment and up the inside of the bonnet. Does this sound like a problem and if so what?
Secondly is a 1999 1.4 volkswagen polo. It again looked great and sounded great, there was some mayonaise type stuff under the oil filler cap. There was nothing in the radiator cap and none on the dipstick. The man said that it was condensation because it has been sat up for 2 months. Once again, does this sound like a problem?
