Hopelessly optimistic, IMHO.
It looks gash with those 'pimp' chrome arch trims, modern wheels and that plastic wood interior.

Highland toffee steering wheel! Fantastic, I knew it reminded me of something! Is this the one from CaRS, all that accessorising is horrid, comfy, but heavy, boring and clutterey! fair play to him but cant see it ever selling for that.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I have to say I don`t like it and think he`ll struggle for that money. The wheel arches, wheels and exhaust really don`t suit it imho.

Think the major prob is the "full race"l 3.1 Lump. If you're going to go for the full on comfy interior, why have a drain pipe exhaust and bored out engine in a Ghia X? 'part from the fact, its at least 5K over the odds

Dear Mr. Evans,
I thought I would let you know of a mistake in the advert you have placed in Practical Classics.
It would appear that you have put an extra '9' on the end of the price for your chavved up Granada.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

I don't think it's all that bad... defo not worth the asking price but with a few tweaks it could be a winner! Lose the wheels, probably those chrome arches, and a more understated zorst...
...that reminds me, there's a black Mk2 Granny with Cossie BDA lump in my town. Sounds fierce!!!1!

Yeah a bit harsh we're being a tad harsh, its still a retro, and been looked after, and its not really chav'd, its more Dad'd! up to the owner what he does. I'd give that money to Stevieturbo for his LS1 Granny though!

Is a very rescuable car. Same comments as above about loosing the pimp/psuedo bling and make it look more original.
Was that the price when it was new?

No Its not this one from CaRS. He had factory style insert Highland Toffee, rather than a big moulded affair
