Up for sale (swap, trade) is this magnificent Vauxhall Frontera 3.2 LWB 3.2 V6 Limited. There, bet that's the first time you've heard "magnificent" and "Frontera" in the same sentence....
All jokes aside, I bought this for a house move a couple of weeks ago. It's big, comfy, cruises effortlessly and isn't in bad nick.
Covered 88k, with MOTs and a couple of receipts to back this up. It's an auto, and had a new box 11k ago (in 2009). Runs very nicely. First few changes when it's cold are a bit snatchy, but that might just be low fluid. I'll check, and if it is I'll put some in. Simple.
I guess I could have checked before and not put this bit in. Oh well.
The Frontera has tax and MOT until end of August, and everything works. Except for the dials on the dash. Until you put the sidelights on. Then they work too. I suspect this could just be a connection under the dash, but have opted for driving with the sidelights on out of laziness. Oh, and the radio/CD. Which works, but is apparently "safe". I assume that this isn't 90s street vernacular for "cool" but actually means it needs the code inputting, and I don't have that. I don't use it enough for it to bother me.
The interior is in good nick, seats
don't have fag burns in, but there are no rear headrests. There is a spare wheel carrier. Note the word carrier and no guarantee of a spare wheel. It wasn't there when I bought it. It's about £50 on ebay for one.
Moving to the exterior, it's pretty straight. There's one bit of grot on the passenger side rear panel, just below the lights. There's a bit when you open the rear passenger door, just at the bottom of the arch. Shouldn't take much to clean up. Moving around there's a tiny (v.minor) dink in the rear door. The driver's side is straight. At the front we have usual saggy Frontera bumper syndrome (They all do that guv). Spots work. Passenger side front indicator is missing a lens. I have a bid on one on ebay, and if that comes before you buy, I'll fit it. If not, I'll post it to you. There's a little dent above this on the corner of the wing. It's little, but it's a dint.
The passenger door is the only other area of less-than-goodness. It's had a parking dent which someone (bless 'em) has partially pulled, proving this is a job that should be left to grown ups. Hopefully they didn't make this a career choice. It's one of those where you can only see it in certain lights. Daylight being the main one.
I may have painted a pretty poor picture, but this is acutally not a bad truck. It's huge, will carry quite a lot of stuff and 5 adults, is in pretty good nick, is taxed, MOT'd and has had the weak bit (the box) sorted. It's so comfy and solid at 80, and was quite a bit of poke from the V6.
They say a picture paints a thousand words, so here's loads more blah in a photobucket album...

As I'm now hoping to not move again for a jolly long time (I'm truly bloody sick of the sight of bubble wrap) I'm looking for something else. Or £950. Open to offers, swaps, px's, (including bikes but with some cash my way). I live in Leicester.
