Costs so far....
New catalyst for the 156 = £110 fitted Just noticed a cut in a rear tyre, down to the cords and bulging sidewall = £65 fitted.
And I haven't even started on the 75 yet - that needs a service, rear calipers stripping and cleaning and a brake fluid change before I even think about an MOT. Plus the rear tyres are looking marginal, so that'll be a pair of tyres as well.
Fortunately, all the bikes have cost me is a 30p fuse.
Thank god I didn't have to shell out for the recent service and tyres for the Passat.

Ahhh, yes. There's tax as well.
I've also just insured the 75.
Why do I bother?

I have only scratched the surface this weekend with a rad for the '2 and shocks for the sapph. £180, still need an mot on it and have em fitted. need to rehome the 'tina, and Despirately need new decent tools too. knock on effect is the V8 project is put on hold for longer, so the sapph or the MR2 will have to go on sale in the near future.
Costly business, cheaper and more fun than a new boring car though...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Need a new tyre for the Mondeo. Just had the cambelt done (£135). Needs front wishbone arm thingie (£50) and a session on the diag computer (£30). Will probably need a cat too soon. Don't get me started on the rest of the fleet! Although the fastback just got rewired for £50
