Just a quick query re changing tyre sizes. My daily currently wears 215/45/16 all round. I need to replace one tyre (which I hate doing as I always change pairs). I was gonna change the pair until I found I'd be looking at 130quid per tyre (for a decent ish brand). Not impressed really.
I've looked about and 205/45/16 will only knock my speedo out by 2mph - when I'm doing 70 I'd be going 68 etc. Price wise I can get a pair of ok tyres for 125. Much more economically viable.
Would there be any issues with this? The plan is to replace the fronts and then as required change the rears to the same size so it wears 205's all round.
