Nice feature Andy! 100k over 25 odd years ain't too bad actually! It was good that they actually showed the 7.8 run - so no one could argue you were talking bo11ocks. I bet your son loves it when the "my dads car is faster than yours" arguments kick off at school

was it on tonight? I tuned in to the last half, normally I wouldn't bother at all. if it was tonight, was it any good? as if a 7 second victor isn't entertainment in it's own right. EDIT; slow ass typing

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Really good little feature, I loved the tracking shot of you coming round the roundabout, then out of the underside of that bridge. That looked gorgeous. And I love the fact they did it outside the back of some normal houses, resisting the temptation to take it somewhere wacky. Maybe there's hope for the show yet. Although judging by the rest of it... One bonus for me is that Jon Smith is on there, as he knows more about the subject matter than the others. Plus if he really did suggest that feature, then hopefully he'll be able to wangle some more cool stuff on.

Fantastic stuff. Good to see real cars on telly. Also can someone please explain the shows obsession with new minis? They seem to have some kind of feature on them every week. This week the Road test of the new one, one as a competion prize and then in the cool cars feature, 'Bentleys aren't cool as everyone has one, But new Mini's are'. Bafffling TBH. VBH looks like Richie from 'Bottom' discuss?
