Due to serious illness, I am helping a friend sell his 1997 R reg Ford Escort LX hatchback. Mot until 26th October 2012 with no advisories, taxed till end of April, showing 101k miles. The car has been used for his everyday workhorse for his trade as a gardener so things like lawnmower, shears and bits and bobs have been carried about in it. The main thing is that the car runs and drives perfectly well, is good on fuel overall, has electric windows, central locking, power steering, has 4 previous owners including the current one, minimal visible rust, the roof has quite a few superficial scratches, crack in the rear bumper on the corner, a few scrapes around in general but would be a tidy car with a wash which it hasnt had for a fair while! This is a genuine sale of a genuine car, cheap as chips!!!! £350 but cat will be at extra cost!!
