so for sale is my trusty mondeo diesel estate. I've had it for 6 years/65,000 miles, and it's done me proud, never once breaking down. So, some good points
Big
Economical
Very reliable
very cheap
Heated Leather Seats
reasonable tread on the tyres
and some bad points
MOT runs out on the 29th (haven't put it in for a new test yet)
Tax runs out on the 29th
187,000 miles
very tatty - its been a work horse and treated as such. Bumpers are gaffa tape specials and most panels are dented/scratched. The paint has gone from the bonnet leaving it mostly white
known faults are :
missing back box (its not noisy though)
front pads need replacing
front headlight bulb blown
drivers side wing mirror glass was smashed by someone when it was parked
so there you go. I'll get £200 for weigh in, so if you wanted you could take some parts off it and take it to a scrap dealer, or if you've just moved house you could get an mot on it and drive it round for a year for less than the cost to hire 2 skips. It'd also make a great car for a banger rally as the rear seats fold to make a flat bed.
I'm happy to sent pictures over, but its not a looker. Its Burgendy in colour. I guess with no paint on the bonet you could call it rat look??
