here we have for sale my golf anniversary it is totally standard
i have been slowly getting it ready to go back on the road i got it with a gearbox problem it wouldnt go into reverse
it also had body issues as the front ns wing was completly rusted through at the bottom
so its had a new wing fitted and a couple of other holes welded underneith at the same time as painting the wing i got the bottom of the 2 doors done also as there was surface bubbles appearing
i then went on to buy a gearbox of a trusted seller on another forum who told me the gearbox had came out of a 60000 mile gti and it was absolutly perfect (£40). So after fitting this with my friendly mechanic (£60) i found that this gearbox had the exact same problem needless to say alot of sweary words and a couple of texts to said seller i was no further forward and £100 outa pocket so this is as far as i have came with this car
front suspension also makin a bang when turnin when stationery
the car its self does have age related marks and if to be mint would need respray but it would be brilliant as a long time driving project or a daily
has all the expense anniversary goodies with it
1 of the fog blanks is missing this can be bought off of ebay for £15
wheels could do with refurb also as looking tired
car needs a good clean as its been lieing in my drive for 6 months so a bit foosty in side
price is at this price as have a look at buying anniversary parts when they come up they go for fortunes seat belts alone cost on average over a hundred quid only because there red lol
as always interested in all other cool cars so make me an offer on swaps as well
could be drivin away on trade plates but we mucked about with the linkages so only gettin gears 1 to 4 and its a bit like stirring soup lol
