I suppose all you could realistically do with that is transfer the estate parts onto a far better saloon
Assuming the base structure is the same and they aren't a different wheelbase or whatever

First thing that came into my head was "bottom of the sea"
But I fear it may have survived better if it had actually be left at the bottom of the sea..

Here's what you could have won. Very cool looking machines but I don't think I'd want to take that crusty one on!

wow, not much of that left is there! I suppose all you could realistically do with that is transfer the estate parts onto a far better saloon Assuming the base structure is the same and they aren't a different wheelbase or whatever ^this. Unless you wanted to basically build a shell from scratch that ended up looking like a mercedes, but this could yield useful parts.

I suppose all you could realistically do with that is transfer the estate parts onto a far better saloon You'd probably still end up reconstructing 90% of the panels & rear floors... As a pattern $3500 is too much, no matter how rare. And what about the roof? Is it saveable? Hmmm... At least you would have all the glass to build a wagon Btw: anybody spotted the rear bumper?

Christ. I'm not sure I'd want to breathe too heavily near it let alone attempt a restoration.

I'm so happy I don't have lots of money, because if I did that I'd be bidding right now, I would be unable to stop my heart ruling my head.

Stopped me countless times from being realy stupid... And see what happens if I have some money to play with. I end up buying rusty Teas that eat all my scarce money, steal all my time and make me bleed ;D
